Should Miss Cali keep her crown?

This is such a sad case. I really don't think she's smart enough to realize the severity of what she says. Where is her publicist? Where are her parents? Being on a platform such as Miss USA you should first be taught to think before you speak. Lets be real people, we all saw the tape. She circled around her words more times than a little girl with a hola hoop. I'm guessing 1 it took her a while to understand the question or 2 she tried to dance around it and couldn't come up with a PC way of answering. I don't know. Either way, is this the girl I want representing me and my state? This is California we are a tossed salad of so many different races, creeds, colors, and religions that its just damn stupid to think things are not going to change and progress. Hell even gender is a gray area now. Even if I would never, is it right to be opposed to something that doesn't concern you anyway? Its "Tradition" is the excuse. Well so was letting the old white guy with the sub prime education and supreme ability to fuck up run the free would too. We all see how that worked out. Aren't these the same people that don't believe in global warming? But being objective, it isn't anymore her business of who I should marry, than what religion I should practice or if I should have an abortion, its only her OPINION. I don't think she should be persecuted for her opinion at all. At the same time no one with narrow views as such should be allowed the opportunity of running in the pageant in the first place. Miss USA should be a representation of what the USA aspires to be. Miss California what California strives to be. A combination of beauty, intelligence, compassion, strength, virtue, drive and change. We as Californians are at the forefront of this country leading the charge. These women should have the unique ability to progress, not just adapt. To create avenues and not just merge into past ideologies of a nation that has just began to heal. These are the very things they are being judged on. But that's right she didn't win did she!

So should she keep her crown as Miss Cali? I say no! Are topless pictures ok now because its 2009? The Donald seems to think so ("It is the 21st century" in my best Donald voice). So the world is advanced enough for it to be ok to go butt naked on the web, but not for same-sex marriage? I'm just saying. I would rather see my gay niece happily married, then have her Ta- Tas as some jerks screen saver in the cubical next to mines. But that's just me. You cant play both sides of the field. No pun intended.
